Energy efficient contractors need their work to be valued in the real estate market in order for their homes to be respected and considered. As Wisconsin homeowner demand for energy efficient homes grows, it is clear residents are seeing the value -- lower energy costs, greater comfort and other benefits. So, how do we empower the real estate market to follow suit and give homes with energy-saving features more value? How do homeowners showcase the value of their photovoltaic arrays and other energy efficient features? Join us as we explore these questions and discuss how standardized energy labeling like Home Energy Score can document efficiency upgrades.
