The presenter will give an introduction to our evolving electrical distribution network, specifically describing smart grids and micro grids. Find out how solar and wind power interconnection plays into the evolving electricity grid. John will discuss and demonstrate using three different solar systems and the electric vehicle charging station installed on the Northeast Wisconsin’s Technical College SmartGrid Mobile Training Lab. (This session will be repeated on Friday, February 15 from 10:15-11:30 am)
